Prime Radiant

Prime Radiant links, on this platform, to the GitHub account "obra" of Jesse Vincent, a Berkeley-based open-source developer with around 8,800 followers, known among other things for Best Practical (makers of RT/Request Tracker) and for leading Keyboardio, a mechanical keyboard maker.

His best-known project in this context is Superpowers, a framework for agentic skills and a methodology for software development with AI agents, which with more than 290,000 stars is one of the most closely watched projects of its kind. Vincent also maintains Private-Journal-MCP, an MCP server that gives Claude a kind of private journal for processing thoughts and observations during a task.

Vincent's work spans an unusually wide range, from classic software infrastructure to hardware firmware to current tools for agentic AI development — a continuity that runs through decades of open-source work, not something that only started with the recent AI boom.
