Granola

Granola builds an AI notepad for people who sit in a lot of meetings. The app captures audio directly through your computer's microphone — unlike many competing products, no visible bot joins the video call. It works across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other platforms, as well as in-person meetings via its iOS and Android apps.

Before a meeting, Granola uses your calendar connection to create a "Brief" with attendee information and relevant context from prior discussions. During the meeting, a few of your own quick notes are enough — Granola then automatically enriches them with the transcribed conversation into structured notes, action items, and follow-up suggestions.

Notes are private and searchable by default; sharing with specific participants can be controlled individually. An MCP connector lets AI tools such as Claude, OpenAI models, or Cursor access your meeting notes directly, without manually copying transcripts. The free tier offers unlimited note-taking with access to the last 30 days; Granola lists customers including PostHog, Figma, Brex, Linear, and Asana.
