Keenable

Keenable operates an independent web search infrastructure built specifically for AI systems rather than human users. Unlike providers that rely on existing search indexes, Keenable says it runs its own crawler, index, and ranking end to end, aiming to keep improving result quality as more AI agents use the platform.

Through the Keenable Web Search MCP at api.keenable.ai/mcp, two core functions are available: web_search retrieves results from Keenable's own index, and fetch_page_content pulls the full content of individual web pages. The platform states it indexes more than 100 billion documents and delivers response times under 250 milliseconds at the 95th percentile from US East data centers.

Billing is usage-based, starting at $1 per 1,000 requests for high-volume users (100 or more requests per second) — a pricing model clearly aimed at developers who want to embed web search directly into AI agent workflows rather than occasional one-off queries.
