Jina AI builds building blocks for search and retrieval applications: Reader converts any URL into LLM-friendly markdown via r.jina.ai, so language models can reliably use web content as context. Jina also offers multilingual, multimodal embeddings for semantic search, plus a reranker that reorders search results using a "listwise" approach to improve relevance.

Through the official Jina AI MCP Server, these APIs — including the separate Search API at s.jina.ai — can be wired directly into AI agents and language models instead of calling each capability individually.
