ElevenLabs develops AI-powered audio and voice technology and publishes the official ElevenLabs Hosted MCP Server for connecting to AI coding clients. The company offers access to more than 5,000 voices in over 70 languages through secure APIs and SDKs.

The ElevenCreative platform generates ultra-realistic speech, video, music, and sound effects for content creators, covering use cases such as podcasts, audiobooks, voiceovers, and localizing content into other languages. ElevenAgents lets teams deploy conversational AI agents across phone, chat, email, and WhatsApp, with multilingual support, real-time analytics, and built-in safeguards against misuse. The ElevenAPI provides several models, including text-to-speech via Eleven Flash at just 75 milliseconds of latency, speech-to-text via the Scribe model at 98% accuracy, and music generation APIs. Eleven v4, released in September 2026, is described by the company as its fastest and most emotive voice model to date.

The business model combines freemium access with enterprise tiers, available through both self-service platforms and direct API access; customers include Twilio, Disney, Stripe, Zoom, and Meta.

ElevenLabs was founded in 2022 by Polish entrepreneurs Piotr Dąbkowski and Mati Staniszewski, who had known each other since their teenage years at Copernicus High School in Warsaw. In February 2026, the company raised a $500 million Series D round at an $11 billion valuation.
