Deepgram

Deepgram is a voice AI company founded in 2015 by Scott Stephenson, who still leads it as CEO. Its range includes speech-to-text and text-to-speech. Speech-to-text turns spoken language into text, and text-to-speech turns text into a voice. There is also an API for voice agents and Audio Intelligence for analysing conversations. An API is a programming interface that lets software use a service directly. For developers, Deepgram also offers dg, an open-source command-line tool. It includes an MCP server. MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants work with other services.
